From 6 to 9 November 2013, Inter Expo Center – Sofia will host the annual international specialised exhibitions MEATMANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DE VIN and INTERFOOD & DRINK. For the second consecutive year SIHRE, the 13th international exhibition for hotel, restaurant, catering and spa equipment will be held in parallel with them.
In 2012, the specialised exhibitions were visited by over 14,000 Bulgarian and foreign visitors. Useful contacts and developments were identified by specialists from Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Macedonia, Romania, Cyprus, Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Czech Republic, Belarus, Poland, Belgium, Hungary, Ukraine and others.
The Association of Meat Processors in Bulgaria and its members will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the international specialised exhibition MEATMANIA, which will be held under the motto “20 YEARS OF INDIVIDUAL STYLE”.
The event will be attended by Bulgarian and foreign companies: manufacturers, importers and retailers of meat and meat products, machinery and equipment, innovative technologies, additives, packaging and packaging machinery, specialised vehicles, industrial floorings and wall coverings, consumables, and everything for meat industry and trading.
For yet another consecutive year there will be held the “Gold medal with diploma” contest, for high quality and innovative products and / or additives, and the Consumer Contest, as well as the premiere of “The Secret of Bulgarian flavor”. The diverse business program of the exhibition – presentations, seminars, discussions and tastings, will be of much benefit for professionals in this sector.
BULPEK international specialised exhibition, organised by the Federation of Bakers and Confectioners in Bulgaria, is also celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Within the international specialised exhibitions, the collective participations of companies from Italy, Austria, Hungary, Greece and Turkey, will contribute to the enrichment of the commercial business relations. There will be traditional demonstrations of elite and high-quality wines from Argentina, South Africa, Italy, Spain, etc. A business visit from the Republic of Macedonia is also planned within the days of the exhibitions.
This year will once again feature the Laboratory for Italian taste – a “gourmet” zone for joint promotion of typical regional food products in the spirit of the best Italian culinary traditions. There will be a presentation of the international NO-BLE Ideas project – “Young InNOvators Network for SustainaBLE Ideas in the Agro-Food Sector”. Visitors and guests will enjoy the second edition of The Cake Design Festival, entitled “Autumn Prelude”, and also the first edition of Art carving Cake Design Festival. The organisers have reserved a special space for the specialised Organic Zone and Diet & Fitness Zone, while the Association of SLOW FOOD Convivia in Bulgaria will participate for the fourth consecutive year.
The Bulgarian qualification for Bocuse d’Or – the most prestigious international competition for professional chefs will be held within the program of the 13th edition of SIHRE.
