This year’s showcase offered an abundance of competitive Russian and foreign developments for all sectors of the food processing industry.

Marina Afonina, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation:
“In recent years, the agriculture industry has been one of the drivers of the national economy. Food and food processing industries play a significant role in this. From year to year, we observe not only growth in the production of the main groups of food products, but also a significant expansion of their assortment. Of course, such results would not be possible without the dynamic development of technologies, as well as the participation of the state in these processes. The existing support measures expand opportunities for our producers and give impetus to the whole sector. Agroprodmash is one of the key business events in the industry. It allows all market participants to learn about the latest achievements in various spheres related to the food processing industry, find new partners and exchange experience.”

The opening ceremony was attended by Vladimir Kashin, Chair at the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federal Assembly on Agrarian Issues, Sergey Mitin, First Deputy Chair at the Federation Council Committee of the Russian Federal Assembly on Agrarian and Food Policy and Nature Management, Vladimir Skvortsov, Director at the Food and Food Processing Industry Department of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Vasily Lavrovsky, Advisor to the Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, Vladimir Platonov, President at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Maxim Fateev, Director General at EXPOCENTRE AO, representatives of industry associations, business and expert communities.

During the Agroprodmash-2024 exhibition, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and “Expocentre” signed a partnership agreement. This agreement aims to develop and promote goods and services of Moscow companies and entrepreneurs through participation in international exhibitions organized by “Expocentre”.

EXPOSITION

The Agroprodmash-2024 exhibition showed a significant expansion of the exposition both in terms of area and number of participants.

Alexey Nemeryuk, Minister of the Moscow City Government, Head at the Moscow City Department of Trade and Services:
“Over the years, Agroprodmash has established itself as an effective business platform for discussing the development prospects of the technologies aimed to improve the equipment used in the food processing industry, as well as for the exchange of best practices and the development of constructive solutions in key areas in this field. For many years, this event has been strengthening business ties and opening new opportunities for cooperation. It allows food processing professionals to learn about the latest technologies from leading Russian and foreign manufacturers, and advanced equipment for the entire chain from production of raw materials and ingredients to production of finished products, their packaging, delivery and storage. The updated and modern equipment, as well as the improvement of production technologies are the basis for creating demanded and quality products, and they also have a positive impact on food security in the capital.”

Agroprodmash-2024 offered all equipment and ingredients demanded by the market. It presented technologies for modern food production, as well as for catering enterprises. The demonstration of equipment in operation, both domestic and foreign, generated special interest.

Metal processing companies from different regions of the country responded to the acute demand of the food industry, presenting their own capacities and competence in the field of production of components, spare parts and non-standard equipment manufacture. Russian factories are ready to produce customized machines according to the technical requirements of customers, which aroused interest and was discussed with potential customers during the exhibition.

The exhibition presented equipment, technologies and ingredients of leading global brands from Italy, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Austria and Czech Republic. Among foreign participants, Chinese manufacturers were the most active this year: 145 companies from China took part in the exhibition.
