A Poultry Plant in Ingushetia Plans to Double Its Production Volume

“Yuzhniy” poultry plant in Ingushetia plans to double its turkey meat production volume. This was reported during a live broadcast by the Head of the Republic, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov.
“We built and commissioned it in 18 months. Now we are implementing the second stage of the project which will produce more than 10,000 tonnes of turkey meat compared to the current capacity of 5,000 tonnes,” Kalimatov said.

“RBK Kavkaz” reported that in the village Yuzhniy, Malgobek district, Ingushetia, an investment project was implemented involving the construction of a vertically integrated poultry plant for the turkey meat industrial production and processing.

Adam Kostoev is the initiator of the project and the CEO of the poultry plant. “The project is implemented at ten sites with the total area of 132 hectares. Six of the sites are already put into operation,” he said. In 2021, the first stage of the agricultural plant was put into operation. Last year, “Yuzhniy” poultry plant launched a turkey meat processing plant. The daily output of this meat processing plant is from 20 to 40 tonnes. Its annual production volume is 4.5 ths tonnes of meat. After reaching its full capacity, the plant will produce about 10,500–11,000 tonnes of turkey meat per year.

Kostoev also said that the cost of the first stage was 2.3 bln rubles. Due to the increase in prices, the cost of the second stage may reach 2.5-2.7 bln rubles.
