Equipped like a modern food processing plant – with machines for upstream and downstream processes – and EU approval for food production, not only can customers at the Seydelmann Customer Center see for themselves the performance, quality and efficiency of Seydelmann cutters, grinders, mixers and emusifiers and the wide range of possible applications, but this is also where production really takes place. “Only when we have mastered the basics ourselves do we have the necessary basis to work with our customers to further develop their processes and products, provide sound advice and be innovative,” says Michael Kirn, master butcher and operations manager of the customer center, explaining the approach.
The results of the international DLG quality test for ham and sausage 2024 – one silver and three gold medals – prove that the basics have been mastered! A remarkable result for the products from the Seydelmann Customer Center.
“Here, our food technologists work for or together with the customer on product development and increasing quality and efficiency, so we don’t just offer machines for food processing, but rather complete solutions for the challenges and products of tomorrow,” says Andreas Seydelmann, Managing Partner of Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG, explaining the company’s own claim. In addition to joint product development, the aim is to welcome customers to Aalen more frequently and to intensify personal consultations.
The customer center offers customers the opportunity to experience their product directly on the Seydelmann machines and for Seydelmann the advantage of being closer to the challenges of its customers and allowing the user side to flow even more strongly into the development process. In this way, the design and development of the machine can incorporate the user’s requirements in an even more targeted manner and the process can be further optimized.
In addition, the customer can experience Industry 4.0 on their own product. Fully or semi-automated processes, recipe control and central operation are already part of the Seydelmann portfolio and can be tested on site.
“In the near future, we will also be able to enable our customers to follow tests and trials live from a distance or provide them with a video recording. The technology will then also give us the opportunity to implement online seminars for larger groups and for our international representatives much more spontaneously and in better quality,” says Andreas Seydelmann, explaining the next stage of expansion of the customer center.
Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG is looking forward to the challenges, the cooperation and the results that it will achieve together with the visitors. Because when Seydelmann customers are successful, this also means success for Seydelmann – and they know what they are doing.
