Chief Executive Officer of “Expocentre” Alexey Vialkin:
– The “Agroprodmash” exhibition, which this year brought together participants from 20 countries, became a mirror of the main trends and the current situation in the food production market. This year, the exhibition attracted 861 companies, which is by 46.7% more compared to the last year. Most of the participants – 593 companies – were Russian manufacturers. The significant participation of Russian companies reflects the strategy of import substitution and clearly demonstrates that in the last two years Russian manufacturers managed to replace most of the manufacturers who left the Russian market.
The exhibition area of more than 66,000 sq. m. brought together not only the best Russian developments, but also the products of foreign manufacturers from Austria, Belgium, Germany, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Korea, Serbia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic and Switzerland.
China and Turkey presented their national expositions.
The collective regional expositions are a well-established format that maintains momentum as a solution for the development of business and regional economy. The number of the collective regional expositions at “Agroprodmash-2023” rose again compared to the last year. The regional booths brought together the manufacturers from Altai and Krasnodar territories, as well as from Omsk, Penza, Tver, Tula and Yaroslavl regions. Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod regions took part in the collective expositions for the very first time.
For many years, the leading Russian manufacturers have been trying to reduce the dependence on imports of major components by investing in their own production. The participants of the “Agroprodmash-2023” exhibition noted a significant increase in interest in Russian developments.
The 25 exhibition salons presented the entire technological cycle of production: from ingredients and raw material processing equipment to the output of finished products, packaging and cooling. Considerable attention was also paid to the automation and robotization of the production process.
This year, all salons expanded their exhibition areas, while some of them even changed their location. Thus, the packaging equipment and materials returned to Pavilion 1, where this salon was located before the pandemic. The confectionery and bakery equipment was moved to the “Forum” Pavilion for the first time. Two pavilions were required to present an extensive, varied display of ingredients – No. 3 and 7. The exhibition of equipment for the production of dairy products, drinks, bottling, processing of vegetables and fruits was located in Pavilion 8.

The salons “APM MyasoProm”, “APM PtitseProm” brought together 115 companies that presented both Russian developments and foreign brands, including from Austria, Italy, Germany, France, the USA, Turkey, Poland and Belarus.
