“Damate” doubled the export of turkey and duck meat to China in 9 months of 2024 compared to the same period last year. The products were exported from the company’s enterprises in the Penza and Rostov regions.
In just 9 months, the company shipped 8,000 tons of turkey to China, of which 6.3 thousand tons were shipped from the Penza region, and another 1.7 thousand tons – from the Rostov region.
In addition, in 9 months “Damate” shipped to China more than 300 tons of ducks on a carcass weight basis, which is 100% of the total volume of Russian supply.
Since the beginning of 2024, “Damate” has expanded the range of meat supply to China from the Rostov region and started shipping duck meat. The organization of shipments from the enterprises in the Rostov region allowed the company to significantly expand their cooperation with the Chinese partners.
“China is a key market for “Damate Group”. We were among the first companies in Russia to receive export permits for this country, and we started shipping turkey meat and duck by-products. We are currently increasing our supply volumes, which is a sign of the high quality of our products and stable demand from customers. I am sure that our cooperation with the Chinese partners will be expanded even further,” said Daria Lashenko, deputy general director of marketing and sales at “Damate”.
