FOUR MILLION TONNES OF POULTRY MEAT AND BY-PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN PRODUCED IN RUSSIA FOR 11 MONTHS IN 2015

370.2 thousand tonnes of poultry meat and by-products from offals were produced in Russia in November 2015 – this is 2.4% less than the previous month, but 10.0% more than November 2014. 11.2% more poultry meat and by-products have been produced in Russia for 11 months in 2015, which is more than the similar period of 2014. “The minimal volume of poultry meat and by-product manufacture recorded for the period beginning January 2013 until June 2013 was 276.2 thousand tonnes,” said SoyaNews; the highest production volume was recorded in October 2015 with 379.2 thousand tonnes. In general, poultry meat and edible offal production in Russia is subject to some seasonal fluctuations (which is demonstrated by the graph), but volumes are obviously increasing steadily year by year.
