“Damate” increased the production of deep processed turkey by 26% in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period last year. According to the company, the production has been increased in response to the growing demand.
The largest turkey deep processing plant in Europe “Damate” based in Penza region produced about 13,000 tons of products in the first 6 months of 2024. This is by 26% more than in the same period last year. The main growth in output is related to the increase in demand and, consequently, in sales. The company is constantly working on expanding its product range and distribution channels.
Sausages and cooked sausages took the first place in terms of production volumes – more than 6,000 tons. Hams and grilled delicacies made of 100% turkey fillet were also in a great demand because due to their low fat content, they are popular with supporters of a healthy diet. Almost 5,000 tons of these products were provided to consumers in the first half of the year. Hams are produced in a separate workshop with the capacity of 87 tons per day. The plant has the first Russian ham roasting line with subsequent cutting, a unique robotic cooking and cooling line, as well as other advanced automation solutions.
Moreover, in the first half of the year, “Damate” has significantly increased the volume of production of dry-cured delicacies, and plans to increase the production rate further.
