Refrigerated trucks with chilled and frozen products from the Chistogorsk pig farm “Sibagro” went to Kazakhstan and Armenia. This is the first systematic supply of pork for export from Kuzbass.
“The development of agriculture remains an absolute priority for us. Increasing export activity, as well as the development of agro-processing, is of particular importance, as it helps to diversify the economy of Kuzbass as a whole. The success of our livestock breeders is another confirmation that Kuzbass producers are able to compete in foreign markets. We will continue to support such projects and create conditions for their dynamic development,” said Kuzbass Governor Ilya Seredyuk.
The Chistogorsk pig farm is the largest pork producer in the region and covers about 70% of Kuzbass’ internal needs for this type of meat.
In 2026, the company sets itself the task of expanding its export geography. The plans include entering the markets of Mongolia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Certification of production sites for supplies to China and the Republic of Korea is planned for 2027.
Kuzbass accounts for 1.2% of the total export volume of agricultural products of Russia and 17% of exports of agricultural products of the Siberian Federal District. Products from the region are exported to 29 countries. In January-March 2026, export growth amounted to 3.9% compared to last year.
